The Axial Wraith is a unique vehicle. It makes quite a visual impression and is fun right out of the box. The lights are very bright. If you are considering getting a Wraith, go to youtube.com and watch some videos of people having fun with the Wraith. Just for having fun, the Axial Ridgecrest may be a better package and is less expensive. The Wraith is more scale, that is realistic, and endless detail can be added to it. It is what is known as a "scaler" for its scale appearance. Axial also makes the Trail Honcho RTR (ready to run) vehicle. It is also very scale looking.
The Wraith is unique in many ways. Unlike most RC vehicles, the Wraith does not have a typical clip on body. It has four bolt on panels which is intended to make it more scale looking. The Wraith comes with a brushed motor and stock has a top speed of about 12mph. They call it a "rock racer." It is faster than a dedicated rock crawling vehicle. I love to take my Wraith out on hiking trails...
