I bought this for my son for his 3rd birthday. He immediately took it out to the sandbox and begin filling and pouring the "cement". The barrel is temperamental and would repeatedly get "stuck" when he would initially flip the switch. After shaking the truck a little, it would then start turning. Then after about 15 - 20 minutes of play, the 3 buttons on the door stopped working so the lights and sounds no longer work. I am returning this one. I am going to order one more and give it another chance just because if it will work properly, it would be an awesome toy. But definitely not as sturdy as I expected for Tonka.
