Review : Fun comes after patience
I'd like to clear up the tracks issue. There are plastic connectors that snap into place betwwen any 2 pieces of track to keep them from coming apart. This is a sturdy toy. The tracks are too short for much fun. We got ours at a local retailer at a huge discount. Liked it so much we went back and picked up another set (luckily still available) so we could expand the track. My 7 year old got used to varying the speed to stay on the track well enough to have tons of fun and me too. If the price allows you to get 2 sets (spare parts and more tracks) without feeling much pain, then you may have as much fun as we do. In short, it's a blast.
