I bought this for my soon to be three year old son. I saw it at Walmart for 49.98, and since he is such a huge Thomas fan... decided to buy it as a gift. Although he hasn't played with it yet, I can already tell how much fun it will be. It responds, sings, blushes, tells stories, and even plays "follow the leader." I will say though, he doesn't shut up... and we couldn't seem to find an off switch without opening the package. We ended up taking the batteries out of him, so my son wouldn't hear him talking if I moved the toy, or talked in it's direction. I don't know that I would pay the price I have seen it online for, but 50.00 isn't bad. After all, this little Thomas is pretty realistic with his moving eyes, mouth, and the occasional snore when he is asleep.
