Review : Great Beginner's Glider
The Parkzone Radian (original) is great beginner's plane or just a fun plane for the experienced pilot to have when you want to fly something that is relaxing. The plane is simple to assemble, but you will need to add your own receiver and own a compatible transmitter in order to fly. Ready to fly versions can be purchased with all the items necessary to fly out of the box. This glider has the same brushless motor the use in their Trojan T-28, (and others) and supplies more than ample power move this big guy with ease. It has very docile handling characteristics and flys well at all speeds. It does not have ailerons like the new Radian Pro so advanced manuevers are limited, but it still a kick to fly. I started out with a Hobbyzone Super Cub and I think this is a suitable substitute for a beginner trainer. The only drawback is the lack of landing gear, but obvious why that feature is omitted. Buy it, fly it, enjoy it.
